Watching

I awoke from my deep sleep in my comfortable chair. My dog, a usually calm Great Dane, was barking wildly. She wasn't stopping, so I stood up to see what had scared her. I stretched and stumbled to the door. I pulled her writhing body aside and held her by the collar. I peered through the door's window and see nothing. I keep looking and a horrible rotting face popped up with a loud cry!! I scream and stumble back. It runs away into the night. I don't sleep for a week in case it comes back. It never does. My bottle memory

The one memory that I would put in a bottle to relive would be the day I got my cat,Peanut. She was a fluffy gray kitten that we got from the pound. I was very young, probably only in kindergarten. My mother and I  went there after school. We walked inside and the man put her and her brother on the floor in front of me. She walked right up to me and purred  loudly.  She rubbed against my legs and that's when we decided to take her home. I love her so much!!!http://www.catster.com/lifestyle/5-cat-facts-cats-paws

The Difference

The differences in the two pictures are immense. After just eight years, the technology has evolved so much. In the 2005 photo, no one is using a cellphone or recording device. In the 2013 photo, almost every single person is using an iPhone and one is even using an iPad. I think this is a very significant change in  the way our world works. It means that the world is getting faster and younger. People now experience big events differently. They can experience them more than once. I think this is a good change because then people can hold on to memorable moments and give them to those who couldn't attend.

What to do?

One day about ten years after i had left seventh grade, I went to collect the post from my mailbox. from inside, i retrieved a strange letter. It was from my very good friend Jessica Ginger. I was quite delighted to finally receive a letter from Jessica. However, a closer inspection of the letter revealed that it was from a maximum security prison. I was quite shocked. As Jess had never so much as disobeyed a teacher in her entire life! I quickly ripped open the letter and unfolded it. It read,

Dear Audrey,


I  know I've caused you much grief. But there's something i need that only you can get for me. Don't tell anyone about this. The reason I am in prison is because I am accused of a crime I did not commit. i am accused of murdering my husband. Please bring me twenty  pounds of dynamite concealed in a mattress. please. I need you.
